Unforgettable night in the Exclusion Zone.

The 2nd day

Breakfast, Lunch.

You are already a little familiar with the Zone, but that's not all. We continue to get acquainted with other objects. Objects worth paying attention to:

Pripyat is a ghost town...

On the first day we visited many locations, but believe me, there are still places left, Which are worthy of your attention. Detailed study of objects + photosession.

The third stage of the Chernobyl NPP, 5th and 6th unfinished power units (outside):

Completion of the construction of the third phase of the ChNPP prevented the explosion of the 4th power unit. At the same time, unit # 5 had 80% readiness, only pit was dug for power unit # 6. We'll go around them outside, and even look inside, you'll see how the power units were built, what equipment was used for the structure...

Unfinished Cooling Towers (inside and outside):

The huge radiators, which had to be cool the reactors 5th and 6th of the power unit. We will go inside the cooling towers, the volume of this building is incredibly huge, it is impossible to believe that it was built by human hands. You will see the famous graffiti of the famous Italian artist Guido van Helten ...

The abandoned experimental base of radiobiology:

The base is located on the bank of the cooler pond, not far from the cooling towers. Previously in the laboratories conducted research on the effects of ionizing radiation on biological objects. After the accident, all reaserch stopped, all equipment and drugs remained in the laboratory. The base is ready to share with you its conclusions...

Artificial Pond NPP Cooler:

A unique, artificially functioning hydraulic engineering structure. The size of the reservoir in some places depth of more than 10 meters can "wake up" the Chernobyl tragedy. You will find out what danger the Pond Cooler carries in its depths.

The Railway station "Yanov" (depends on the date of the tour):

This is a closed station for passenger trains. In April 1986 the station took the last passenger train Moscow - Khmelnitsky. On the station platform there are not more passengers, on the rails there were locomotives - ghosts...

The villages of Paryshev, Opacici (communication with self-travelers):

Imagine how difficult it is to leave your home, the place where you were born, grew up, where your whole life went. Some people could not do it. Despite to the decree of the government of the USSR about compulsory and unconditional resettlement, despite the large contamination of the territory with radiation, people did not leave their homes, or returned to their homeland after a while. These people are self-travelers. They are always ready to share their destiny, their suffering and grief.

Interview with the staff of the Institute of Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the city of Chernobyl:

You will hear the freshest and the most accurate facts of the disaster. You will know what the Zone really breathes today.

Chernobyl-2 - military town + radar "Duga-1" administrative building:

As you already know, the population of Chernobyl-2 was about 1000 people, in the city there was only one street - Kurchatov. We will walk around the city, look into the soldiers' barracks, visit the administrative building, in which the signals of the antenna accumulated, the signals on which the security of a huge state depended ...

Radiological monitoring

The special instruments will scan you from head to foot. Radiation remained in the zone. We are passing the checkpoint "Dityatki", we are saying goodbye to the representatives of special services.
The road to Kiev will take us an hour and a half. Scroll everything you saw and you will understand that the Zone has affected you, in the good sense of the word. You have ever come back!

19.00 — 19.30

We are returning to Kiev, railway station.

The tour program can be changed depending on the length of daylight hours, weather conditions and as directed by the Chernobyl exclusion zone administration.
From 06/08/2021, the transportation of spent nuclear fuel began, which may also affect the adjustment of the tour program and cause a delay when visiting some locations.
We make every effort to ensure that your tour is comfortable and meets your expectations

2 Day Tour to Chernobyl

Have you ever heard the sounds of silence? There is a place in the world that may allow you to hear them. This terrain differs from anything that you’ve ever seen in your life. A desolate town with blind window apertures, empty and sinister-looking buildings disturbed only with sudden gusts of wind will make you feel as if you are in some sort of a fantasy movie. This Zone that suffered from real radioactive contamination is now accessible for everyone who decides to visit it. Our team offers you an opportunity to spend your holidays with 2 days on a Chernobyl tour instead of one. This package for your holiday in Chernobyl and Pripyat includes two days of tours with a night that you will spend in a hotel near the Exclusion Zone. A night in the hotel is an integral part of any two-day Chernobyl tour in our schedule. Let’s review an approximate itinerary of a two-day Chernobyl vacation.
