“PULSAR” – A GROUP OF THE CITY OF PRIPYAT

"Pulsar" - a group from the city of Pripyat
The accident that occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986, caused a lot of grief for the inhabitants of Polesie. All cities and villages within a radius of 30 km from the famous station were abandoned by residents due to a life threat.
The explosion in the fourth reactor affected numerous territories. Most of all the cities went to Pripyat, a city located just a few kilometers from the nuclear power plant. 50 thousand people were forced to leave their homes forever.
25 years - the average age, at the time of the tragedy, those who were not destined to return to their monastery. One of the youngest and most beautiful cities of the USSR was covered by radiation and can be said to be buried under a layer of radioactive dust. Even after many days of work on the burial of radiation soil and decontamination, the city was not able to return residents to their homes. All evacuated residents said goodbye to the city of Pripyat forever.
In the hearts and memories of people there are many memories of the past of the city. Each city has its own story, its own celebrities, its own musical groups, its own customs. Creative people are everywhere. Pripyat was no exception. Even for a short time, but the city has its own musical groups and discos, which we will talk about later. One of the most famous groups was the rock band "Pulsar" from the city of Pripyat. |
Concerts of a rock band from Pripyat are remembered by almost all adult residents of the city. The Pripyat group “Pulsar” performed at all events, be it Victory Day or May Day, November 7 or February 23. To date, very little is known about the rock band from the city of Pripyat. There are rare photographs from concerts held by the residents of the city of Pripyat at that time, and recordings on bobbins by the same residents, maybe even someone has audio tapes from the Pulsar rock band. The city of Pripyat has always been advanced in terms of new products and supplies. The young city of Pripyat was supplied on a par with Kiev and Moscow. In times of continuous deficit in Pripyat, one could acquire without problems much that was not available in other cities. It’s hard to find the songs of the Pulsar band.
We got only one song, the name of which is the Dusty Reflection of the Soul. It is worth saying that for that time it was very good, high-quality music. The composition of the rock group Pulsar from Pripyat is known - Alexander Lakhtin, Nikolai Hardin, Sergey Isaev, Sergey Puchkov, Vladimir Dudarov, Ivan Chemezov, Oleg Lomonosov.
Of the seven people who were members of the Pulsar group from the city of Pripyat, something is known only about three members. About Oleg Lomonosov, we only know that he lives in Kiev. About the other two participants Sergey Isaev and Sergey Puchkov, a little more is known. It is authentically known that at the moment they are playing in the "Heavenly River" group. About Sergey Puchkov: Sergey Puchkov was born on May 22, 1959 in the city of Severouralsk. After graduating from high school, Sergei entered the music school, after a year of training he was drafted into the army. Military service took place in a song and dance ensemble.
After serving in the army, Sergei returned to civilian life and completed his studies at a music school in the class of percussion instruments. In 1981, he and a couple of friends organized the Pulsar group. The group played in the style of art rock. The group moved from Severouralsk to Sochi, and then to Kiev, and to the fateful city of Pripyat to Ukraine. Shortly after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, together with the guitarist of the Pulsar group Sergey Isakov, they formed a duet. A new musical program for the scoreboard and guitar was prepared. The group went on a tour to Italy. Since then, Sergei Isakov has been playing in the Heavenly River group. About Sergey Isakov: Born in the Sverdlovsk region in the city of Asbest.
Sergey's father played the guitar, button accordion and several other instruments. While still studying at school, Sergei attended a music club where he played the button accordion. After graduation, he studied at the mining technical school, and then served in the army. The service took place in a military band. After serving in the army, he graduated from the Asbestov Music College in guitar. Sergei Isakov met at the school with Sergei Puchkov, where they organized the Pulsar group together. After school, the group moved to Sochi. The musical group was called "Pulsar", they played art rock. Soon the musical group moved to the city of Pripyat, located a few kilometers from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Unfortunately, nothing else was learned about the other members of the rock band from the city of Pripyat. Let's hope that all musicians are alive and well.
It is reliably known that at the time of the accident the group was in Pripyat. The musicians of the Pulsar group were evacuated from the city of Pripyat together with all residents after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. For the musicians of the Pulsar group, as for all residents, Chernobyl became a disaster.
A lot of people were injured during the Chernobyl accident. Creative people take everything very close to their hearts. The exception was not
